Grass Fed Lamb

Vermont in 1840 was home to some 1.7 million sheep, outnumbering the state’s residents 6:1. At this time, Vermont was second in the nation for wool production. Not bad for the 6th smallest state! Times have changed, but Vermont remains an ideal environment for sheep, and we are filling its rolling pastures once again so that you can savor delicious Vermont lamb.

Vermont: Sheep Country

Health by Diversity

Our sheep flock helps us to maintain our pastures. Complementing the cattle, they often prefer pasture species other than grass and help to control parasites in the soil. We raise healthy, meaty lambs through our management intense grazing system which ensures nutritional needs are closely monitored and fresh forage is always available. Lambs spend the summer months frolicking in the green fields and charming the neighbors.
